Preserving Our Veterans Stories

Jul 31, 2017

Dear Friend,

In 2000, Congress established the Veterans History Project (VHP) to collect and preserve the stories and experiences of our nation’s veterans. These audio and video interviews serve as a valuable archive of firsthand insights into the realities of war.

As a nation, we have a duty to ensure the painful sacrifices made to protect our families and freedoms are never forgotten.

I’m honored to team up with the Library of Congress to help preserve the stories of #WA01 veterans for the Veterans History Project. If you’re a veteran who would like to participate, or if you know someone who would, please contact my Veterans Liaison, Benjamin Studley, for more information. You may reach him through email at or by phone at (425) 485-0085.

As always, my office is here to serve you. If you have questions or comments about the topics that matter most to you, I encourage you to contact me through my website. You may also keep up-to-date on what I’m doing by following me on social media or signing up for my e-newsletter. If you need assistance dealing with a federal agency, such as the VA, IRS or Social Security Administration, please do not hesitate to contact my Bothell office at (425) 485-0085.
