This week, I visited communities across WA-01 to hear directly from Washingtonians and highlight how Republicans’ cuts to health care, nutrition programs, and other social services will hurt families around our state.

Nutrition Roundtable in Arlington

I held a roundtable with nutrition advocates and SNAP participants to highlight President Trump’s historic and devastating cuts to federal food programs. I also spoke with members of our community who shared what these cuts would mean for their ability to serve families across the district. You can watch our conversation below.

Sea Mar Monroe Visit

I toured Sea Mar Monroe to learn more about the care they provide to rural & underserved patients. We discussed how cuts to Apple Health and other programs will make it harder for families to access care.

Boys & Girls Club Teen Center in Snohomish

I stopped by the Teen Center to see how they are supporting youth & families year-round. This new addition gives kids a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive.

I’ll keep showing up and fighting back against policies that make life harder for everyone.
