This week, Speaker Johnson shut down the House floor to block a vote that would have released the Jeffrey Epstein files to the public. This is a disturbing effort to protect the powerful and keep Americans in the dark. Every person in this country deserves transparency from their government.

House Republicans have once again chosen to do Donald Trump’s bidding instead of serving the American people. Shutting down Congress to shield the well-connected undermines our democracy and erodes public trust in our institutions.
