Washington conducts world-class medical research that saves lives every day. The Trump administration is putting the breakthroughs of tomorrow at risk with illegal cuts to research funding provided by the National Institutes of Health. These investments support 12,000 jobs in Washington including at our medical research centers and hospitals like Fred Hutch, University of Washington, Virginia Mason, and Seattle Children’s Hospital.
