Dear Friend,
This week, I joined community members in Bothell to mark the 90th anniversary of Social Security, a program that seniors, people with disabilities, and their families rely on for financial security.
Social Security is an earned benefit that helps millions of Americans keep a roof over their head, food on the table, and prescriptions filled. I have been a strong supporter of protecting and enhancing this program since I arrived in Congress. It’s imperative that we fight back against efforts to privatize Social Security and work to strengthen the program so it’s there for the next generation when they need it.
