Wishing You a Happy and Safe July 4

Dear friend,

It was great to celebrate the 4th of July with so many of you at the Bothell Pancake Breakfast earlier today. A special thanks to the Bothell Fire Department for putting on this great event every year that brings our community together. I hope you and your family have a happy and safe holiday.

Celebrating Independence Day in Bothell

This week, I've been home in Washington’s 1st district meeting with local officials and community members to discuss my work in Congress, deliver investments I’ve secured for our communities, and celebrate our nation’s independence.

Prior Authorization Roundtable

DelBene joins UW Bothell for the grand opening of their new Environmental Education & Research Center!

I hosted a roundtable with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Chiquita Brooks-LaSure, Washington patients and doctors to discuss how health insurance red tape is delaying access to critical health care for seniors in our state at the new Redmond Senior & Community Center. During the discussion, I highlighted my efforts in Congress to fix this issue and the Biden administration's new regulations to deliver care faster to Medicare beneficiaries who need it.

Delivering $960K for Redmond Water Pipe Replacement

Delivering $960K for Redmond Water Pipe Replacement

I joined Redmond Mayor Birney to announce a $960,000 federal investment I secured to replace an outdated asbestos cement (AC) water main pipe, ensuring safer and more reliable water in the community.

Delivering $850K for Little Bear Creek Culvert

I visited Woodinville to deliver $850,000 in federal funding to replace a culvert in Little Bear Creek. These enhancements are critical for ongoing salmon recovery efforts across our region and will ensure our ecosystems remain clean, safe, and thriving for years to come.

As always, I look forward to spending time with you at meetings, events, and other activities across the district. Let’s continue to work together to move the 1st District forward.
