This week, Republicans passed their budget that would make the biggest cut to Medicaid in history, so they can pay for more tax cuts for the wealthy. These cuts threaten the health and security of nearly 2 million Washingtonians on Apple Health.

Medicaid coverage can be the difference between a child getting cancer treatment, a new mom accessing postpartum care, or a senior being able to afford nursing home care.

I’ve heard from so many of you about what Medicaid means in your lives. A constituent in Marysville with Parkinson’s will not be able to afford their vital medications to help with their symptoms if Medicaid is cut.
