Representative Suzan DelBene

SUZAN SHOWS UP: September 28-October 9

Dear Friend,

I spent the last few weeks listening and working with members of our community about the challenges they are facing, and how I can best advocate for them in Congress. These conversations guide my work to grow our economy, lower costs, and protect health care.

Celebrating 50 Years of Community Transit

I joined Community Transit to celebrate 50 years of great work connecting communities throughout Snohomish County.

Supporting Apprenticeship Programs

Investing in apprentice programs and career education is essential in developing a strong workforce. I had the pleasure of touring IAM 751’s Machinists Institute in Everett, which provides cutting-edge training for current and future workers in our community.

Strengthening Relationships with Our Allies

I welcomed Mark Wiseman for his first visit to WA as Canadian ambassador! Canada is one of our most important allies, and I’ll continue to fight back against Trump’s harmful trade war that is hurting our strong partnership.

2026 App-A-Thon

My office hosted our annual App-A-Thon at UW Bothell to prepare students entering the Congressional App Challenge. This event brings together students and mentors and gives them a space to get creative and develop their submissions. As a lifelong tech geek, I love seeing what they come up with.

Preparing for Republican Health Care Cuts

Republican Medicaid cuts are set to rip away care from the most vulnerable. I toured Compass Health Marc Healing Center, a mental and behavioral health crisis center in Everett, and spoke with the team about how these cuts will impact patients. I appreciate all the work they do to support people in our community.

I’m committed to showing up, listening, and delivering real results for our region. If you need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact my Bellevue office at (425) 485-0085 or delbene.house.gov. Sincerely,

Suzan DelBene
