Our servicemembers make incredible sacrifices to protect our nation, preserve our democracy, and uphold the freedoms we enjoy. On Memorial Day, we gather and pay tribute to those who gave their lives in service and to express our love and gratitude to the Gold Star families and communities who hold them close in memory.

As we reflect on their sacrifice, let's also celebrate the remarkable lives they led and the impact they had on our country. Let's renew our commitment to supporting our veterans, servicemembers, and their families, who continue to strengthen our nation through invaluable service and sacrifice.

I will continue advocating in Congress to ensure our servicemembers and their families have the resources and support they need to thrive. For example, the PACT Act empowers veterans to access enhanced health benefits.
