Dear Friend,

This week, the Senate failed to pass a critical bill that would provide much-needed relief to families, build more affordable housing, and incentivize innovation across the country. This agreement, which I voted for, passed the House over six months ago with strong bipartisan support – something many thought was impossible with our chamber's current leadership.

The Senate’s vote this week was incredibly disappointing for families struggling right now. I’m hopeful this isn’t the end of this story, and I’m committed to continue working to get this across the finish line.
