Republicans Want $1 billion for trump's ballroom

Dear Friend,

Last week, Republicans revealed the details of their budget proposal. In addition to doing nothing to lower costs for families and giving $70 billion to ICE and CBP, Republicans are using this budget to secure taxpayer money for Trump’s luxury ballroom.

Republicans want to spend $1 billion of your tax dollars on this absurd vanity project. The Trump administration repeatedly claimed taxpayer money would not be used for the ballroom. They lied.

Inflation is at its highest rate in 3 years. Gas is nearing $6 a gallon in western Washington. Food prices are climbing. This Republican budget makes it abundantly clear what their priorities are – giving a blank check to ICE and CBP and building Trump’s gilded ballroom. Instead of trying to help families with rising costs, Republicans want to waste time and money.
