WA Seniors Can't Get care they need because of trump's new ai program

Dear Friend,

In January, President Trump’s Health Department started allowing private companies to use AI to delay and deny care for seniors on traditional Medicare in Washington and five other states.

The president promised to “not touch” Medicare, but this program takes away coverage and forces seniors, their families, and doctors to navigate more bureaucratic red tape. There have been numerous stories from across our community about how this is hurting patients. That’s why I’ve introduced legislation to stop this program and other similar AI pilot programs.

This week, Health Secretary Kennedy appeared before the House Ways and Means Committee. I pressed him on why the administration implemented this program, which is hurting patients for no reason, after promising the administration would not touch Medicare.
