Dear Friend, 

This week, I had the chance to connect with folks across the district and hear what’s on your mind. These conversations help shape my work in Congress, and I’m always grateful for the opportunity to listen and learn from our community.

In Bothell, I hosted a town hall where constituents shared their concerns about the Trump administration and asked important questions about the road ahead. These conversations are vital—and I’m grateful to everyone who showed up and spoke up.

I also stopped by Stella Schola Middle School to meet with 8th graders and talk about what it means to be a leader. Their curiosity and enthusiasm were inspiring.

Later in the week, I joined a roundtable with affordable housing residents and advocates to discuss the affordable housing crisis in Washington and highlight how legislation that I’ve introduced would create an additional al 53,000 affordable homes in our state.

And finally, I’m excited to announce this year’s Congressional Art Competition winner: Erika Ni! Her beautiful piece “Embracing the Journey”, will represent WA-01 in the U.S. Capitol. Congratulations, Erika!
