DelBene Holds Town Hall with State Senator David Frockt in Kenmore

On Saturday, Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (WA01) was joined by State Senator David Frockt (WA’s 46th District) at a joint town hall at the Kenmore City Council Chambers to discuss the issues most important to their constituents.

“I want to thank Mayor Baker and the City of Kenmore for their hospitality during today’s town hall, as well as to Senator Frockt for joining me to work with our constituents on the issues that are most pressing to them at both the state and national levels. I have made it a point to meet with folks in every corner of my district to hear directly from them about how Congress can help improve the lives of hardworking families in our region. I was pleased with today’s conversation and look forward to many more in the future,” said DelBene.

“Civic engagement – whether it’s voting for your representatives or participating in town hall discussions like these – is the bedrock of our democracy.” said Senator David Frockt. “Thank you to those that attended for working to ensure our democracy is more equitable for all! And thank you to Congresswoman DelBene for hosting this opportunity for Mayor Baker and I to hear from our constituents.”

DelBene held town halls in Point Roberts on August 3rd, in Lake Stevens on August 10th, and in Redmond on September 7th as part of her “Suzan Shows Up” summer tour this year.
