U.S. Rep. Suzan DelBene is one of the few members of Congress with a background in technology.

The former Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) executive worked for the Redmond company for three years before her first stint in government. DelBene has represented Washington’s 1 ^st Congressional District since 2012 and serves on the influential House Judiciary Committee, which oversees the courts, immigration and patent and trademark law.
