DelBene Nominates 15 Community Projects for $40M in Federal FY25 Funding

Today, Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (WA-01) nominated 15 community projects in Washington’s 1st Congressional District for dedicated Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) funding. The projects, totaling nearly $40 million, include road and trail upgrades, water infrastructure projects, and public safety improvements.

“The 15 local projects that I’m submitting today for dedicated investment in the federal FY25 funding package will strengthen our communities by supporting public safety initiatives, improving health care services, and ensuring access to clean drinking water in Washington’s 1st District,” said DelBene. “Community Project Funding has been a strong success in our state, and I will work to deliver these vital resources in the upcoming funding debates.”

The 15 community projects spanning the 1st Congressional District, including:

  • $16.7 million for projects in King County
  • $23 million for projects in Snohomish County
