Calling All Veterans in WA-01!! Congresswoman DelBene is now accepting applications to join her Veteran’s Advisory Board. Veterans who live in the 1st Congressional District who want to advise the Congresswoman on current issues and policies, and act as a liaison for the Veterans community are encouraged to apply.
- The board will focus on local veteran issues that can be addressed at the federal level. Identify recommendations for bills to cosponsor and bills to introduce.
- The board will also advise and keep Congresswoman DelBene informed on any state legislation of note.
- The board will help serve as liaisons between the veteran’s community in the district and surrounding communities to help talk about legislation and solicit input.
- The board will bring current veteran’s issues to board meetings to discuss and present their recommendations to the Congresswoman.
Applications will be open from March 5, 2024 – April 8, 2024.
