DelBene tells House probe: Stop 'harassing' medical researchers

A witch hunt-like probe of Planned Parenthood and medical research firms by House Republican conservatives has caused always-cool U.S. Rep. Suzan DelBene, D-Wash., to do a slow burn.

DelBene was named to a "Select Investigative Panel" created by House Republicans to investigate Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers, after an anti-abortion group released doctored videos supposedly showing PP executives selling fetal tissue.

The former Microsoft vice president delivered an angry rejoinder on Wednesday, when the panel's Republican majority charged a small biotech company StemExpress with criminal contempt.  The company has already provided 1,700 pages of documents to the panel.
