Dear Friend,
My top priority in Congress is helping to create good-paying jobs and build the foundation for long-term economic growth. Despite lower unemployment rates nationally, too many working families are still struggling to make ends meet.
That’s why I’m working to boost workers’ earning potential by connecting them with jobs in high-demand fields through my third annual #WA01 career fair. Career fairs are an important way for those who are under-employed, struggling to find work or looking to change jobs to meet potential employers.
The career fair will be held at the University of Washington Bothell on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It will include representatives from a variety of sectors, including healthcare, information technology, transportation and logistics, construction, manufacturing, professional/technical services, warehousing and the public sector.
If you’re interested, or know someone who might be, feel free to come network with business leaders, other job seekers, and me at this free event. Please be sure to registerHERE.
As always, my office is here to serve you. If you have questions or comments about the topics that matter most to you, I encourage you to contact me through my website. You may also keep up-to-date on what I’m doing by following me on social media. If you need assistance dealing with a federal agency, such as the IRS or the VA, please do not hesitate to contact my Bothell office at (425) 485-0085.
Sincerely,
Suzan
