Today, Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (WA-01) announced her “Suzan Shows Up” tour – a rollout that includes four town halls and other events that will highlight important issues impacting the region, including climate change, technology, and economic security. “Suzan Shows Up” begins this week with a focus on health care. On Monday, DelBene visited the VA hospital in Seattle. She also plans to visit health clinics in Bothell and Redmond, and hold a roundtable focusing on chronic conditions and coordinated care. “One thing most people in our region know about me is that regardless of location – from King County all the way up to the Canadian border – I make a point to show up. I’m reinforcing that commitment during this August work period by holding events and town halls throughout our wonderfully diverse region that focus on issues that matter greatly to my constituents. I look forward to sharing my thoughts and hearing from everyone about what Congress can do to improve people’s lives,” said DelBene. DelBene will host her first town hall this Saturday, August 3rd in Point Roberts. Dates and locations for other August town halls will be made available in the coming days.
