ICYMI: New Vaccine Updates

Dear friend,

This week, two important updates to the COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan in Washington state were announced. Here’s what you need to know:

You are no longer required to verify your eligibility through Phase Finder, the state’s online vaccine eligibility tool. Instead, you only need to check that you meet eligibility requirements set by the state before visiting the Vaccine Locator tool below to find an appointment:

Earlier this week, I had a chance to visit the King County Vaccination Partnership vaccination site in Redmond, Washington. It was great to thank all the staff who have been supporting our public health response.

While Washington state is currently distributing vaccines in phases to reach communities most at risk for COVID-19, eligibility will open for all Washingtonians ages 16 and up on April 15. This second announcement is promising news as we get closer to crushing COVID-19 and ensuring that vaccines are widely available for all to access.

The Partnership is working hard to ensure that vaccine distribution is equitable with an on-site call center that can translate 200 languages as well as transportation vouchers and shuttles available for those who qualify.
