Today, Congresswoman Suzan DelBene released the following statement commending the resolution in the longstanding trade dispute between the U.S. and E.U. over aircraft subsidies:

“After almost two decades of the Boeing-Airbus trade dispute, the United States and the European Union have reached an agreement that will benefit our aerospace industry and workers in Washington state and across the country. This resolution is estimated to protect 1.2 million American jobs and will serve as a strong counter to Chinese non-market practices in the aerospace industry and related sectors.

“I thank Ambassador Tai and the Biden administration for their work in ending these harmful tariffs and rebuilding key alliances as we look to collaboratively tackle the global challenges of tomorrow.”
