Federal Investments That’ll Help Meet Our Communities’ Needs

Dear friend,

This week, the House approved federal funding legislation that included $6.7 million in funding for community projects in Washington’s 1st district that I championed. These projects include recreation and community centers, child care facilities, career development and youth engagement programs, and telehealth expansion in rural areas that will benefit Washington families and communities.

Resources like these can have a direct and meaningful impact in our communities, helping Washington build back better after the pandemic. Detailed descriptions of the community projects can be found here. This annual funding legislation now goes to the Senate for consideration.

As always, I am here to help you. If you need assistance at this difficult time, please don’t hesitate to leave a message with my Kirkland office at (425) 485-0085. For more updates on what I’m doing for WA-01, you can follow me on social media at the links above.

Stay safe and stay healthy,
